(July 31, 2020) A poster depicting Electrician’s Mate Fireman William Vinson, a native of Bartlett, Ill., assigned to Nimitz-class nuclear aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70) wearing a mask as part of Vinson’s “Self, Shipmate, Ship” campaign. The design’s purpose was to remind the ship’s crew to take proper precautions to prevent the spread of COVID-19 both on and off the ship.
