The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport NATO Naval Forces Weapon and Sensor Accuracy Check Site (FORACS) Sensor Accuracy Test team recently executed a successful sensor accuracy test on the USS Gerald R. Ford (CVN 78), the lead ship of a new class of aircraft carriers. The team is comprised of test director Mark Gelzinis from Division Newport’s Atlantic Undersea Test and Evaluation Center (AUTEC) and five contractors who work for Pacific Architects and Engineers.
