U.S. Naval Hospital Naples, Italy - After many months and collaboration among the hospital, installation, and contractor staff, the radiology team was able to show off its new technology. In addition to the new MRI machine, a new fluoroscopy unit was also installed. The digital technology means less radiation and instant imaging. The machine can also perform standard x-rays which doubles the capacity of the department and ensures no delays for emergent patients.
