CAAA is able to make more room in its storage units for newer ammunition by demilitarizing unserviceable munitions, ensuring munitions readiness for the Army of the future. By modernizing its machinery and processes, CAAA ensures the demilitarization is safer for its people and the environment. Two CAAA prepare red phosphorous munitions to be disassembled, after which parts will either be destroyed or recycled locally.
