An aerial photograph shows a landslide or debris flow that has descended from a snow-dusted mountainside and crossed a coastal road, depositing material onto the shoreline and into a body of water. The slide has disrupted the roadway, and at least one piece of heavy equipment (likely a bulldozer or grader) is visible near the slide debris. The surrounding terrain features dense coniferous forest with patchy snow cover on the steep hillsides.
