U.S. Air Force medical personnel and members of their joint support team gather one last time at Del Sol Medical Center in El Paso, Texas, on Dec. 2, 2020, for a farewell luncheon before some return home. The medical providers arrived in early November, along with approximately 60 other U.S. Air Force and Army medical personnel, to aid their civilian counterparts in combatting the recent surge in COVID-19 cases. U.S. Northern Command, through U.S. Army North, remains committed to providing flexible Department of Defense support to the Federal Emergency Management Agency in support of the whole-of-America COVID-19 response.
