Mrs. Sara Jane Arnett, wife of U.S. Army Maj. Sam Arnett, coordinated with a local business to provide a bag of coffee to overseas service members during the holidays for every copy her book purchased during an author event promoting her children’s book, My Daddy’s a Soldier, in Camden, SC, Nov. 21, 2020. The Arnetts, Kentucky natives, have worked for nearly two decades to support military families and communities; she wrote her book to help children of service members cope with and overcome the challenges associated with deployments, separations and military life.
