KCpl. Kil Tae Seung, a Korean Augmentation to the U.S. Army assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 7th Infantry Regiment, 1st Armored Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division, places a new 3ID patch on Spc. Hunter Moore, a Soldier assigned to 2-7INF, during the 2-7IN KATUSA Patching ceremony, November 16, 2020, at Camp Humphreys, Republic of Korea. U.S. Soldiers and KATUSAs first executed a circuit of exercises while wearing their body armor and M50 Joint Service General Purpose Mask, then held a ceremony to switch the KATUSAs’ former unit patch with the 3ID patch. This ceremony formally welcomed the KATUSAs into the Cottonbaler battalion and promoted unity between the Soldiers. (U.S. Army photo by 1st Lt. Hope McCraw)
