Vermont National Guard COVID19 Response, Soldiers and Airmen are re-establishing the Alternate Healthcare Facility at the Champlain Valley Fairgrounds, in Essex Junction, Vermont. The AHF was originally constructed in April, as it saw little use it was disassembled in July. The Vermont National Guard is reusing the materials from the earlier project to construct this smaller facility. The facility will remain locked until the the Vermont Department of Health determines it is needed. It can accommodate up to 200 patients if needed.
