With senior military leaders participating, U.S. Army Pacific and the Peoples Liberation Army conclude this year’s virtual Disaster Management Exchange. The day’s expert academic discussion focused on Multi-national Coordination Center operations and Defense Support of Civil Authorities, including COVID response. Both armies have taken important steps to increase understanding on how to prepare for and respond to humanitarian crises. Countries participating in a Multi-national Coordination Center increase the effectiveness of their response.
