Adam Geeskie, a 50th Air Refueling Squadron pilot, at MacDill Air Force Base, Fla., Nov. 10, 2020. Newton, who served the 99th Fighter Squadron as a supply clerk following World War II, took off from MacDill and flew over the Tampa Bay skies, before he wanted to fly over his Manhattan home and finished his flight simulation over the airfields of Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam Air Force Base, Hawaii.
