201110-N-FP334-1194 ARABIAN SEA (Nov. 10, 2020) Gas Turbine Systems Technician (Mechanical) 3rd Class Andrea Guzman, from North Bergen, N.J., monitors the ship's propulsion plant in the central control station of the guided-missile destroyer USS Ralph Johnson (DDG 114) during a replenishment-at-sea with the dry cargo and ammunition ship USNS Wally Schirra (T-AKE 8). Ralph Johnson is part of the Nimitz Carrier Strike Group and is deployed to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations to ensure maritime stability and security in the Central Region, connecting the Mediterranean and Pacific through the Western Indian Ocean and three critical chokepoints to the free flow of global commerce.
