An aviation boatswain's mate directs an F/A-18C Hornet, attached to the "Sidewinders" of Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 86, onto one of the four steam-powered catapults on the flight deck of nuclear-powered aircraft carrier USS Enterprise (CVN 65). Enterprise and embarked Carrier Air Wing (CVW) 1 are underway on a scheduled deployment in support of maritime security operations.
