Mark Mendes, a transmissions systems operator assigned to Task Force Ellis, I Marine Expeditionary Force (MEF), fires a Beretta M9 service pistol during a pistol qualifications range aboard amphibious dock landing ship USS Comstock (LSD 45). Task Force Ellis, comprised of Marines and Sailors from I MEF, deployed aboard the USS Comstock (LSD 45) to the Indo-Pacific to conduct theater security cooperation activities from July to November 2020.
