This artist’s rendering show what a proposed Squadron Operations building for the incoming F-35 squadrons at Luke AFB may look like when it is complete. The Air Force officially announced the base as the site of the Air Force's F-35A Lightning II pilot training center Aug. 1. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Los Angeles District is scheduled to begin construction in Oct. 2012.
