U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Joseph Mott, 31st Rescue Squadron pararescueman, places and straps the isolated personnel on to a low angle mechanical advantage system during a technical rescue element leader upgrade scenario on Kadena Air Base, Japan, Aug. 3, 2012. After the isolated personnel’s parachute came in contact with a tree, the 31st responded to recover and treat any injuries that he might have suffered.
