Paratroopers assigned to C Company, 1st Battalion, 325th Airborne Infantry Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division, conducted a platoon-size raid on a training site on Fort Bragg, N.C., Aug. 3. The platoon crossed danger areas and moved tactically over rough terrain before reaching their objective, where the platoon seized and searched the buildings in order to gain control of the area. Paratroopers engaged targets from a rooftop to provide overwatch and security for troopers seizing nearby buildings. The battalion conducts field exercises to test the readiness of the paratroopers for future missions.
