Soldiers and Department of the Army Civilians view a message from Secretary of the Army Ryan D. McCarthy during the “Your Voice Matters” listening tour at Joint Base San Antonio-Fort Sam Houston, Oct. 21. “Your Voice Matters” is an Army initiative within Project Inclusion, which focuses on improving diversity, equity and inclusion across the force to build cohesive, winning teams. The three-day event provided personnel an opportunity to attend a 90-minute listening session to discuss current social issues, to share personal experiences, and to offer suggestions to make the Army better and contribute to an inclusive environment.
