U.S. Air Force Col. Dain Kleiv, 437th Maintenance Group commander, addressed the volunteer members of the 437th Aerial Port Squadron during a recognition ceremony, Oct. 23, in Summerville, S.C. Members of both Joint Base Charleston and the community came together to honor the volunteer efforts of these Airmen who have been instrumental in the massive food giveaways orchestrated by the Summerville YMCA and the Community Resource Center Summerville where they helped provide over 60,000 boxes of groceries and 2,400 kits of school supplies to Dorchester County Residents since the beginning of the pandemic.
