PACIFIC OCEAN (Oct. 18, 2020) – Naval Air Crewman (Helicopter) 2nd Class Devin Haswell adjusts a .50-caliber machine gun in an MH-60S Sea Hawk helicopter, assigned to the “Wildcards” of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 23, currently embarked with the amphibious assault ship USS Makin Island (LHD 8). The Makin Island Amphibious Ready Group and the 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit are conducting at-sea training events in the U.S. 3rd Fleet area of operations.
