Soldiers with the 1st Brigade Combat Team "Bastogne", 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), were issued their personal and weapons Multiple Integrated Laser Engagement System (MILES) gear at Fort Polk, La. The MILES gear is worn on the Soldiers, mounted on their weapons systems and vehicles, and using blank ammunition coupled with lasers, they simulate actual battle. (U.S. Army Photos Staff Sgt.
