An SH-60 helicopter takes off from the flight deck of the JS Kirisame (DD 104) of the Japan Maritime Self Defense Force. The Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS John S. McCain (DDG 56) is conducting integrated maritime security operations with the JS Kirisame (DD 104) of the Japan Maritime Self Defense Force and the HMAS Arunta (FFH 151) of the Royal Australian Navy.
