U.S. Marine Corps Brig. Gen. Bobbie Shea, commanding general 1st Marine Logistics Group, and her staff visited U.S. Marines and Sailors assigned to 7th Engineer Support Battalion, 1st Marine Logistics Group, who are conducting wildland firefighting efforts near the Shasta-Trinity National Forest, Oct. 17, 2020. Approximately 250 Marines from 7th ESB are helping at the August Complex in Northern California. Through U.S. Army North, U.S. Northern Command remains committed to providing flexible Department of Defense support to the National Interagency Fire Center to respond quickly and effectively to protect people, property, and lands.
