A fast paced cycling workout typically doesn’t last long, but Marines from RSS Pearland were up for the challenge and rode for 20 miles! They didn’t stop there, they made it back to work by 0800.
The ride reinforced a few things that all Marines love; a good challenge and the ability to endure.
U.S. Marines with Recruiting Sub-Station (RSS) Pearland, Recruiting Station Houston took part in a team building event in Pearland, Texas, on Oct. 7, 2020. Marines on recruiting have the essential task of finding qualified young men and women to be the next generation of United States Marines.
Community and physical fitness are keystones in the daily life of every Marine. Marines from RSS Pearland took part in a past paced, 20 mile cycling ride to build comradery among the team and challenge themselves physically. Cycling requires endurance, mental agility and physical fitness.
This ride was performed by SgtMaj Cabarrus, GySgt Rodriguez, SSgt Guischard, Sgt Garcia, and Sgt Rosado.
