MISAWA, Japan (Oct. 13, 2020) – Sailors celebrate the Navy’s 245th Birthday celebration at the base exchange on Misawa Air Base with cake and coffee. The theme for this year, “Victory at Sea,” closes the 75th anniversary commemoration of World War II, and also recognizes 245 years of warfighting excellence, and relating them to modern Sailors who carry that heritage forward today.
