Roman Hall stands in front of the satellite communications system that he maintains as part of his role as an Information Technology Specialist (25B) with Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 1-189th General Support Aviation Battalion, 34th Expeditionary Combat Aviation Brigade, Montana National Guard. As his unit wraps up their 10-month deployment to the Middle East, he has decided to volunteered to stay behind and do an in-theater extension with the incoming 28th Expeditionary Combat Aviation Brigade for a second rotation.
