The Rochester Hills, Michigan, native is a language analyst assigned to Company A, 719th Military Intelligence Battalion, 501st Military Intelligence Brigade, Eighth Army. The HQDA Best Warrior Competition 2020 is an annual week-long competition including competitors from across the Army. This year, due to COVID-19, the competition takes place across the nation with competitors conducting events at their home station and participating in a virtual knowledge board presided by Sergeant Major of the Army Michael A. Grinston. The noncommissioned officers and junior-enlisted competitors are evaluated in several categories such as general military knowledge, basic Soldier skills, and physical fitness.
