PHILIPPINE SEA (Oct. 5, 2020) Boatswain’s Mate 2nd Class Trevor Drain, from Lake Forest, Calif., signals an MH-60S Seahawk helicopter from the “Archangels” of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 25 to land on the flight deck as it transports Rear Adm. Fred Kacher, commander of Expeditionary Strike Group 7, to the amphibious dock landing ship USS Germantown (LSD 42). Germantown, part of Expeditionary Strike Group 7, along with the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit, is operating in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of responsibility to enhance interoperability with allies and partners, and serve as a ready response force to defend peace and stability in the Indo-Pacific region.
