CAMP LEMONNIER, Djibouti – Hospital Corpsman 3rd Class William S. Begley, assigned to the Expeditionary Medical Facility at Camp Lemonnier, Djibouti, hoists a black Wet Bulb, Globe Temperature Index flag to indicate extreme hot weather conditions on base, Oct. 3, 2020. When in black flag conditions, non-mission essential physical training and strenuous exercise must be suspended for all personnel and heat stress will occur in most cases. Camp Lemonnier is an operational installation that enables U.S., allied and partner nation forces to be where and when they are needed to ensure security in Europe, Africa and Southwest Asia.
