YOKOSUKA, Japan (Sept. 30, 2020) - Machinery Repairman 2nd Class Eric Million, from Muskogee, Oklahoma, a member of the damage control training team, simulates a class alpha fire during a damage control training evaluation aboard U.S. 7th Fleet flagship USS Blue Ridge (LCC 19). Damage control evaluations are used to train and assess Blue Ridge's damage control capabilities. Blue Ridge is the oldest operational ship in the Navy and, as 7th Fleet command ship, actively works to foster relationships with allies and partners in the Indo-Pacific region.
