HANSCOM AIR FORCE BASE, Mass. -- Staff Sgt. Luis Miguel Leon-Sobenis, D Co. 223rd Military Intelligence Battalion, Massachusetts Army National Guard, is highlighted during Hispanic Heritage Month, September 29, 2020. Leon-Sobenis was born in Ecuador where he worked as a dentist until he moved to the United States and joined the National Guard as a combat medic.
"I went to a military high school as a kid and loved the discipline and lifestyle. Joining the US military has been an honor and a privilege for me," said Leon-Sobenis.
