    NBU 7 LCACs Conduct Amphibious Operations in the Philippine Sea

    PHILIPPINE SEA (Sept. 27, 2020) As seen from Landing Craft, Air Cushion (LCAC) 10, assigned to Naval Beach Unit 7, currently attached to the amphibious dock landing ship USS Germantown (LSD 42), LCAC 30 conducts amphibious operations in the Philippine Sea. Germantown, part of Expeditionary Strike Group 7, along with the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit, is operating in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of responsibility to enhance interoperability with allies and partners, and serve as a ready response force to defend peace and stability in the Indo-Pacific region.
