DENMARK (Sept. 25, 2020) Acting Under Secretary of the Navy, the Honorable Gregory J. Slavonic toured the Danish frigate HMS Niels Juel (F363), alongside the head of the Danish Navy, Chief of Naval Staff Rear Adm. Torben Mikkelsen and the ships' commander Cmdr. Michael G. Landmark, during a visit to Denmark Sept. 25, 2020. Slavonic traveled to Denmark and Portugal, where he engaged with senior defense and military officials, identifying opportunities for the Department of the Navy (DoN) to enhance interoperability and increase cooperative efforts.
