Throughout the month of August, Soldiers in the 427th Movement Control Team prepared and tracked the movement of nearly 150 tactical vehicles traveling 5,000 miles while safely transporting troops and equipment to and from various training areas in the Northeast. The unit’s small-scale collective training event centered around Fort Indiantown Gap, Pa. where Soldiers also completed individual weapons training. During wartime, the unit’s mission is to provide in-transit visibility and tracking of all equipment moving via rail and road. This training helped increase Soldier readiness.
