Herrera, a native of Houston, and a medic with Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 1st Battalion, 8th Cavalry, re-wrap a half cast a young Iraqi male had on his arm in the New Baghdad District of eastern Baghdad Oct. 27. They added a splint to hold his fingers straight to aid in healing and gave the Iraqi youth a sling for his arm.
