Infantrymen Sgt. Christopher Darling and Sgt. Charles Anderson from the Oregon National Guard 2nd Infantry Regiment, 162nd Infantry Battalion with Kosovo Force Regional-Command East Maneuver Battalion, repair a water hose Sep. 15, 2020 for a local woman in the Zubin Potok municipality. Darling said that he likes using his skills to help the people in Kosovo and that it adds-to the team’s mission and purpose. The current KFOR RC-E rotation is composed mostly of Oregon National Guard Soldiers from 41st Infantry Brigade Combat Team who often find themselves using their civilian trades and skills not only to accomplish the KFOR mission but to strengthen community partnerships and relationships with the people in Kosovo.
