The loadmaster crew on a C-17 Globemaster aircraft from McChord Air Force Base, Washington, is loading equipment and service members from the 140th Wing, Colorado Air National Guard, Buckley Air Force Base, for a Operation Noble Defender a NORAD Arctic Air Defense operation, on September 20, 2020, at 5 Wing, Goose Bay, Newfoundland & Labrador. North American Aerospace Defense Command is conducting a dynamic force employment operation in the Arctic Sept. 20-23 to demonstrate NORAD’s air capability, readiness and will to defend the United States and Canada from competitors who continue to test our defenses.
