Sgt. Kayla Sampson performs a pre-flight check on all medical devices within a UH-60 Black Hawk on July 30, 2020, to ensure they are operational in case an emergency MEDEVAC call comes through. Aviation MEDEVAC personnel are required to be able to depart within 15 minutes if a MEDEVAC mission comes in and as a flight medic, Sampson performs all in-flight medical attention to patients during transport.
