    An F-35A Lightning II assigned to the 63rd Fighter Squadron flies over Luke Air Force Base, Ariz., Aug. 21, 2020. The F-35A produces 43,000 pounds of thrust and is designed to provide the pilot with enhanced situational awareness, positive target identification and precision strike in all-weather conditions. Luke AFB is the largest fighter wing in the U.S. Air Force and is responsible for training 75 percent of the world’s F-16 Fighting Falcon and F-35 fighter pilots.
