U.S. Army Chief Warrant Officer 3 James Ward, a critical care flight paramedic assigned to the 1st Battalion 228th Aviation Regiment Air Ambulance Detachment at Joint Task Force-Bravo, examines medical supplies that would be used in the event of a medical evacuation at Soto Cano Air Base, Honduras, July 31, 2020. The 1-228 Charlie Company aeromedical evacuation team recently conducted three lifesaving aeromedical evacuations in four weeks. The missions represented one of the first times the pilots and crew departed the base using N-95 masks to protect themselves from the coronavirus.
