U.S. Army Sgt. Mauricio Caceres, New Jersey Army National Guard, evaluates a casualty (training mannequin), the last event after the ruck march, of the Best Warrior Competition. The Vermont Army National Guard hosted the Region One Best Warrior Competition at the Ethan Allen Firing Range in Jericho, Vermont, August 14-16. The New York Army National Guard took the top spot in both the Non-Commissioned Officer and Enlisted categories.
