The South Texas Waterways Advisory Committee (STWAC) holds their full committee meeting Jan. 16, 2020, at the Congressman Solomon P. Ortiz Center along the Corpus Christi Inner Harbor. Working closely with the Coast Guard, STWAC members advise the Captain of the Port on critical waterway safety matters, participate in the Port Coordination Team, and run 5 subcommittees with topics ranging from marine firefighting to dredging to gangway safety-- all with the significant task of ensuring safety on our busy waterways.
