Master Sgt. Charles Mallow, the Lethal Fires and Effects Coordination Cell non-commissioned officer-in-charge for the 4th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, 1st Infantry Division from Elkins, W.V., has the Bronze Star Medal pinned on by Col. Ricky Gibbs, commander of the 4th BCT from Harker Heights, Texas, in a ceremony at the brigade's headquarters on Forward Operating Base Falcon, Oct. 26. Mallow, who is scheduled to redeploy in late October, also received the Army Commendation Medal.
