Senior leaders from XVIII Airborne Corps observe after assisting Soldiers from the 361st Multi-Role Bridge Company, 841st Engineer Battalion, 926th Engineer Brigade, launch an interior bay, improved ribbon bridge, July 17, 2020, at Pineview Lake, Fort Stewart, Georgia. Upon entering the water, the interior bay opens and becomes a floating watercraft with the capacity to carry tracked vehicles. The 926th Eng. Bde. was responsible for the construction of an IRB so that elements of 3rd Battalion, 69th Armored Regiment, 1st Armored Brigade Combat Team, 3ID, could execute a wet gap crossing. Wet gap crossings proved the combatant commander the capability to quickly cross water obstacles in order to seize an objective. (U.S. Army Photo by Sgt. Justin McClarran)
