The Mississippi National Guard, 890th Engineer Battalion is providing the labor to construct a extension to a road at the Hattiesburg-Laurel Regional Airport's business park in Jones County, Miss., July 22, 2020. The extension is approximately 1/3 of a mile long. Airport officials say the new infrastructure will help them lure in new companies and by Soldiers providing the labor, the savings to taxpayers is approximately $1.5 million.
