200729-N-LW757-2005 SAN DIEGO (July 29, 2020) Naval Medical Center San Diego's (NMCSD) command triad and staff from Naval Branch Health Clinic (NBHC) Kearny Mesa pose for a photo at the branch health clinic July 29. A celebration took place to signify for the reopening of the building after the NBHC was remodeled. NMCSD’s mission is to prepare service members to deploy in support of operational forces, deliver high quality healthcare services, and shape the future of military medicine through education, training, and research. NMCSD employs more than 6,000 active duty military personnel, civilians, and contractors in Southern California to provide patients with world-class care anytime, anywhere.
