When we come across your gear in the water, like an adrift kayak or floating life jacket, we don’t know if it is lost or if someone is in need of help. If information is on the gear, we can contact the owner and determine whether or not they are in distress. lLbels can be obtained through local harbormasters, the Coast Guard Auxiliary, local Coast Guard units, and at select marine retail and supply stores.
