200622-N-CR202-1036 BREMERTON, Wash. (June 22, 2020) Sailors and Puget Sound Naval Shipyard & Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PSNS & IMF) workers load a crash and salvage crane onto the flight deck of Nimitz-class nuclear aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70). These cranes are used for maneuvering inoperable aircraft and combating casualties aboard the ship. Carl Vinson is currently undergoing regularly scheduled maintenance pierside in Bremerton, Wash.
