A U.S. Marine with 2nd Intelligence Battalion, II Marine Expeditionary Force Information Group, digs a hole to place a Seismic-Acoustic Cable in the ground during a patrol at Camp Lejeune, N.C., July 17, 2020. The Seismic-Acoustic Cable is capable of detecting seismic vibrations in the ground out to 50 meters and can pick up acoustics of enemy activity to include vehicles, aircraft and personnel.
