Commanding General of 1st Marine Logistics Group Brig. Gen. Bobbi Shea recognizes Cpl. Cameron Rider, a radio operator with Combat Logistics Regiment 1, winner of 1st MLG Innovation Award, for his design and fabrication of a vehicle-mounted antenna during an award presentation ceremony on Camp Pendleton, California, July 16, 2020. Rider used his previous experience and knowledge of constructing field-expedient antennas in his innovation of a low-cost, vehicle-mounted antenna capable of maintaining on-the-move communication.
